GBTN is located in Jacmel, Haiti. Our organization primarily serves four communities-St. Helene, Monchil, Monchil 2, and Mon-age. Ninety percent of our families do not have full-time jobs or income. The average income for a family in Haiti is $2 U.S. dollars a day, yet most families do not even make that amount. Approximately 60% of our families have no income. Seventy percent of our children do not eat every day. The remaining 30% of our children will eat one meal a day of corn meal or rice.
